The Role

n

As a key member of the administrative team, you will work closely with the Principal to provide educational leadership both within the school and the broader community. Your primary focus will be on developing and promoting the school's vision, encouraging active participation from school staff, community volunteers, and other stakeholders, all within the context of the Health and Physical Education (HPE) learning area.

n

Physical Education Programs at Eastern Goldfields College are delivered off site, utilising a range of different facilities and working with different local providers, both public and private, as well as local schools to deliver robust programs across ATAR,



General and Certificate Courses. Health courses are also delivered across ATAR and General contexts, and we have moderation relationships built with partner schools to support the delivery of courses across both Health and Physical Education.

In your capacity as a curriculum innovation coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing professional guidance to HPE teachers, ensuring that they stay informed on relevant curriculum issues within your designated area. You will be instrumental in facilitating teaching and learning outcomes, employing effective performance development strategies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the school's academic community.

A key aspect of your role may involve implementing change management strategies to lead the school community in accepting and developing opportunities for improved service within your specified subject area. Your contributions will extend to the collaborative development of the school plan, involving participative decision-making, policy development, and the establishment of necessary systems.

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

- hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia

- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
