We're on the hunt for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join a respected workshop in Torquay. The workshop sees an average of 5-10 vehicles per day, offering steady, diverse work without the chaos. You'll be responsible for all aspects of mechanical repairs - from diagnostics and servicing to suspension, brakes, and engine work. This role is hands-on and broad, making it ideal for someone who doesn't want to be boxed into one specialty.

The position is full-time, working Monday to Friday, with 2 hours of guaranteed overtime per week available.

n You'll need:

- A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, ideally from an independent or franchise background rather than dealerships

- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

- Proficiency with scan tools and the confidence to work independently when needed
n
- A strong attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented work ethic
n
- Flexibility to work on a wide range of makes and models
n
- Full Australian working rights
