Are you seeking a rewarding Junior Engineer role?

Are you a values driven Junior Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding career in Consulting? If you are interested in Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, and Cosmetics, or similar fields, have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree recognised by Engineering Australia, and enjoy problem solving, continuous learning, innovation, and working in a supportive team, you are a great fit for our company! Work experience in these fields is desirable but not essential.

You'll get a great mix of experience in this role and will be able to see the outcomes of your work. You'll develop your engineering skills working alongside senior engineers and using engineering standards, software tools and a library of internal collective history. This is a great chance to grow project management capability by supporting the management of budgets and timelines and adhering to a project management governance framework.





You'll develop your practical skills by spending time on site in discussion with clients and end users and being part of commissioning.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Expectations

- Model integrity, accountability and respect.
- Under supervision manage small projects from start to finish, or contribute to large projects as part of a team. Define, track and report on time, cost and quality. Track and report internal metrics to ensure project quality and profitability.
- Apply sound engineering principles, knowledge and judgement.
- Under supervision learn and complete design work using relevant regulations, codes of practice, Australian and International standards, as well as internal documentation and templates.
- Use a structured, logical approach to both project management and design, including the accurate filling of information.
- Contribute to the continued improvement of internal systems and processes.
- Develop strong, collaborative and productive relationships within the team, with clients and suppliers and throughout industry.
- Demonstrate a 'can do' attitude, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Commit to your own development as part of lifelong continual improvement.

Skills and Experience

Requirements

- Recognised Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical or similar), with progress towards becoming Chartered highly desirable.
- Familiarity with of Federal, State and local regulations and Australian standards and their interactions.

- Ability to manage your own work completing scope tasks to time and budget
- Demonstrate practical experience, strong ethics, and hands-on involvement
- Team player with ability to encourage and build up other staff
- Strong written communication skills, for everyday communications and formal documentation.
- AutoCAD & MS Project skills well regarded
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, living in Adelaide or Melbourne, with the right to work in Australia.
