This is a hands-on role combining food preparation, kitchen cleaning and production set-up, helping get the kitchen organised, clean and ready for the production day ahead at Tiny Turtle Baby Food, a Perth-based baby and toddler food business producing nutritious frozen meals and finger foods from a commercial kitchen in Balcatta.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing vegetables and ingredients for production
- Washing, peeling, chopping and accurately weighing ingredients
- Setting up ingredients and equipment for the production team
- Washing dishes, trays, utensils and production equipment
- Cleaning benches, floors, trolleys and kitchen equipment
- Completing scheduled cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks thoroughly
- Keeping preparation and storage areas clean and organised
- Checking your work and making sure tasks are completed properly
- Following food-safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures

- Take pride in keeping things exceptionally clean
- Are happy doing both food preparation and cleaning

- Experience in a commercial kitchen, food production, catering or cleaning environment would be an advantage, but isn't essential
