About the Role

Working as part of our Logging Ground Crew, you will assist with the preparation and packing of export log containers while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This is a physically demanding outdoor position. Applicants must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, cold, humidity, and dusty environments.

Heavy machinery operates throughout the site, so safety awareness, communication, and attention to detail are essential.

Reliability is critical. We are looking for team members who take pride in their work,



attend their rostered shifts, and communicate professionally when issues arise.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with handling and moving logs throughout the yard
- Preparing and packing export containers
- Washing logs prior to packing
- Recording container and log information accurately
- Taking photographs and emailing information to administration
- General yard maintenance and labouring duties
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

What We're Looking For

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Previous labouring, yard, logging, transport, warehousing, or similar experience is advantageous
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Reliable and committed to attending rostered shifts
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely around heavy machinery
- Comfortable working outdoors in challenging conditions
- Ability to follow procedures and safety requirements
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical Assessment

Previous experience is advantageous, however full training will be provided to the right candidate.
