Plan the runs. Lead the drivers. Land every delivery.
This is the role that decides whether a customer’s day goes well.
Someone has waited weeks for a King Living piece. Getting it to them on time, undamaged and exactly when we said we would is the last thing we do for them — and the thing they remember. You are the person who makes that happen.
You plan the runs. You lead the drivers. You manage the exceptions in real time and ring the customer before they have to ring us. It is fast, hands-on and warehouse-based, and you will see the impact of your work every single day.
What You Will Own
Delivery Planning Plan and sequence daily runs, optimise routes, validate orders, manage load-out and resolve exceptions in real time to keep every run on track.
Customer Liaison Book and confirm delivery appointments, handle inbound scheduling queries, and communicate delays or changes before the customer has to chase.
Driver Leadership Lead drivers and transport partners daily — run readiness, route clarity, delivery quality. Monitor outcomes, flag issues, and support onboarding and coaching with the Delivery Driver Manager.
Systems, Data & Compliance Keep records accurate across SAP, Radaro and internal systems. Track DIFOT, damage rates and truck utilisation, and hold the line on CoR and safety compliance.
Warehouse Coordination Work with the warehouse team to line up stock readiness, pick accuracy and dock flow with the day’s delivery schedule.
Who You Are
Calm under pressure, quick on your feet, and precise — equally at home on the warehouse floor and behind a screen.
- 1-3 years in dispatch, delivery coordination, logistics or warehouse operations
- Hands-on with delivery planning, run scheduling and load-out
- Solid communicator, confident on inbound queries and proactive outbound calls
- Experience with SAP, Radaro or similar delivery, warehouse or ERP systems
- Detail-oriented,
and able to juggle multiple runs and competing priorities
- Comfortable in a warehouse environment, working directly with drivers and transport partners
- A quick problem-solver who can make the call under pressure
- Confident with Microsoft 365 and happy to pick up new platforms, including AI tools
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and workplace safety requirements is desirable
- Exposure to last-mile, bulky goods or furniture logistics is a bonus
