Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Lawyer role based in Sydney, NSW. The Lawyer will advise clients on entertainment, intellectual property, commercial, and immigration matters, with a focus on production and music contracts (but expanding into other entertainment and commercial contracting matters and entertainment visa matters).

Day-to-day responsibilities include directly managing client relationships and advice, and supporting partners and senior lawyers on contractual and related legal matters.





The Lawyer will work closely with colleagues and clients to deliver clear, practical advice and contribute to the growth of the practice.

Qualifications and Qualities:

- Strong experience in entertainment and commercial law, including contract drafting, negotiation, and advising on commercial arrangements.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law, with experience in copyright, licensing, and protection of creative works and contractual rights.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to produce transparent, accurate advice and documentation.
- Familiarity with the use of AI.
- Exceptional communication and client relationship skills, including ability to communicate complex legal concepts in accessible language and manage multiple matters concurrently.
- Admission as a Lawyer/Solicitor in Australia and a current practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Prior experience in entertainment, media, or creative industries is highly regarded, but a commercial lawyer with a passion for production, the creative industries and/or entertainment would also be a strong candidate.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small, specialised team, often solving complex and very specific, ad hoc issues is critical.
