About the Role We’re looking for an L&D; Instructional Designer – Leadership & Operations who is ready to create practical, engaging and innovative learning experiences.

In this role, you’ll work across both leadership and operational learning, helping us build leadership capability while also supporting the skills and knowledge our teams need within our manufacturing environment.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business and performance needs, then turn these into simple, effective learning solutions that engage our people and support Hilton Foods’ goals.

Key Ingredients of the Role

- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business, performance and learning needs and identify the right learning solution.
- Design practical and engaging learning solutions for both leadership and operational teams across our manufacturing environment.
- Translate technical, process and operational information into learning that is simple, explicit and easy to apply in the workplace.
- Design and develop learning programs across face-to-face, virtual and blended formats.
- Develop learning pathways that support leadership capability, compliance, operational capability and career growth.
- Create practical resources and tools, including quick reference guides, storyboards, job aids and other learning materials that support learning on the job.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create meaningful learning experiences.
- Pilot and facilitate learning programs where required,



using feedback to continuously improve the learning experience.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning, including how learning translates into behaviour and performance in the workplace.

Please note:

- This role is offered as an 18 month or 2-year fixed-term contract and is based at Truganina (Melbourne).
- Only learning designers with leadership experience in workshop and program design in the corporate sector will be considered.

- Learning Design: Demonstrated experience designing engaging leadership, operational, compliance and capability-building learning solutions.
- Business Focus: Ability to understand business and performance needs and translate them into practical learning solutions.
- Precision: A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
- Engagement: Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and communication skills.
- Efficiency: Strong time management and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Technical Capability: Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Articulate Storyline experience is not required but is highly regarded.
