Cahill Plumbing & Gas Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Plumber for ongoing commercial works across high‑rise units, warehouses and school projects. This is not an entry‑level role — we need a competent operator who can run work fronts, meet programs and maintain high standards.

Role & responsibilities:

Commercial plumbing installations across high rise, warehouse and education projects. Meet programs and tight deadlines with consistent, reliable output. Work independently or within a team depending on project requirements. Lead small crews and train apprentices with the right skill set and attitude. Interpret hydraulic plans, complete set outs and identify clashes. Communicate effectively with builders, staff and project managers.

Key responsibilities:

- Complete daily prestarts and site documentation
- Keep clear records of works completed including progress, variations and delays




- Submit daily work notes for program tracking and reporting
- Lead small crews and train apprentices
- Interpret hydraulic plans and complete set outs

About you:

- Fully proficient in all aspects of plumbing
- Strong commercial experience — high rise, warehouse or school projects
- Confident leading teams and developing those around you, including apprentices
- Excellent communication with builders, staff and project managers
- Current plumbing licence, white card and relevant tickets
- Solution oriented
- Positive attitude, motivated and a genuine self starter
