The Role & Project
n
MACA are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Mining Supervisors to join our team at the Dingo Range Gold Project working a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.
n
The Dingo Range Gold Project developed by Emerald Resources is a 1.41 million ounce greenfield gold asset located in Western Australia's North Laverton region, representing one of the state's emerging gold developments.
n

Key responsibilities:
n
n
- Ensure that all work activities are conducted in accordance with contract/project management plans and statutory requirements.
n
- A distinct understanding of managing procurement, plant, equipment and resources.
n
- Ensure that all technical, engineering and specified aspects of the work activity are complete prior to commencement of works.
n
- Support day to day activities, providing direction to production crews, ensuring effective shift handovers, prestart and toolbox meetings.
n
- Identify areas for improvement, assess training requirements and provide coaching and development opportunities for staff.
n
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
n
- A demonstrated track record of fostering safety in the workplace.
n
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, leading and mentoring teams effectively to drive production performance outcomes.
n
- Extensive experience in open pit mining.
n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must, allowing you to build relationships across the team and departments.
n
- Working knowledge of the Regulation/Legislation.
n
- Statutory Mining Supervisors Course (Schedule 26).
n
- Proven and effective people management skills.
n
- Able to act as a solid and positive example to the workforce.
n
- Current driver's licence.
n
n
