We’re currently seeking friendly, reliable and enthusiastic swim instructors who enjoy working with children and creating a positive learning environment in the water.

This role is ideal for instructors looking for consistent, ongoing hours, with the expectation that you can commit to regular shifts across the school term within our learn to swim programs.

Lessons are delivered across our pools at Coorparoo, Holland Park, Wishart and Indooroopilly, offering flexibility across multiple locations.

Our programs operate Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, along with Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 11:00am. Additional weekday morning shifts are also available for the right candidates.

Plenty of parking and close to public transport. Plus, all staff members can swim in our adult squad for free!

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver high quality, safe and engaging swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities.
- Follow structured lesson plans while adapting to individual swimmer needs.
- Provide transparent instruction,



demonstrations and constructive feedback to support skill development.
- Ensure a safe learning environment by adhering to pool safety guidelines and supervision standards.
- Build positive relationships with swimmers and their families through friendly and professional communication.
- Monitor and track swimmer progress, providing regular feedback to parents and supervisors.
- Assist with class organisation, equipment setup and pack down.
- Support water safety education and promote confidence in the water.
- Work collaboratively with other instructors and supervisors to maintain a positive team environment.

Qualifications required:

- Coaching or Swim Teaching qualification (Swim Australia or AustSwim).
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
