About the role
We have multiple Casual opportunities available, with flexible shifts across the week.
As a Pool Lifeguard, you'll be the calm, confident presence around our pools — chatting with customers, keeping an eye on things, and making sure everyone's having a good time safely. You've got great people skills, you stay level-headed under pressure, and you genuinely care about giving people a excellent experience at the pool.
You'll be based across the Cannington and Riverton Leisureplexes, reporting to the Supervisor Lifeguarding & Aquatics. It's hands-on, it's rewarding, and no two shifts are quite the same.
These roles run on a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday, between 5:00am and 9:00pm. If you're looking for casual work and have great availability across early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public/school holidays, we want to hear from you.

- Supervise pools and all water bodies including spas, waterslides and hydro-pools
- Ensure a pleasant and welcoming experience to all Leisureplex customers

- General cleaning and maintenance of aquatic facilities, including pools, spas, saunas and change rooms
How you will thrive in this role:
- Current Pool Lifeguard certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current satisfactory National Police Clearance (issued within 6 months)
- Ability to respond to emergencies and administer first aid in a calm and controlled manner
- Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to providing a positive experience for all customers
Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, public and school holidays. The facility operates seven days a week including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Candidates are required to be available all hours. Please see opening hours here Why apply for this role?
