Heartcare Sydney is seeking an experienced cardiac sonographer for urgent Friday locum cover at our specialist cardiology practice in Westmead.

Dates and remuneration

- Friday 18 September, Friday 25 September and Friday 2 October 2026.
- Start at 8:30 am; last scan starts at 4 pm.
- A 30-minute scheduled break.
- Guaranteed minimum A$1,000 per day, with additional remuneration for additional studies, agreed in advance.
- Availability for one, several or all dates is welcome.

The role and equipment

Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms with associated ECGs, and stress echocardiography, including accurate measurements and preliminary reporting for cardiologist review.

You will work with our new GE Vivid Pioneer ultrasound system in an established specialist cardiology practice.

About you

- Current ASAR accreditation in cardiac sonography.
- At least five years of post-qualification cardiac sonography experience.
- Qualified, reliable and attentive to patient comfort and care.
