LOCUM Veterinary Nurse | Drovers Vet Hospital

- Shifts available from 14th September until 31st October
- Up to $45 per hour (depending on experience)

In addition to our clinic’s specialised facilities and small animal GP offerings, including separate dog and cat wards and a dedicated grief room, our clinic also offers orthopaedic surgery, oncology care and in-house advanced ultrasounds.

The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for locum nurse coverage. We are adaptable with availability and looking for ad hoc shifts between 14*th September until 31*st October. We are looking for someone that is equally comfortable on reception or in theatre, who loves what they do.

Responsibilities will include:





- Providing support to our veterinarians in all aspects of vet nursing
- Provision of high standard patient and customer care
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Assisting with reception and administration tasks as required

To be successful for this position, you will have:

- Certificate IV qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Previous experience as a Vet Nurse, with knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures would prove beneficial.
- An ability to work well in a team and genuinely support the team
- Initiative and good time management skills.
