My client is an Australian Transport & Logistics company with a growing presence across the country. Due to an internal promotion they are looking to add a Logistics Coordinator to the Rail team in West Melbourne Dock Facility. This is a temp to perm opportunity for someone with a positive attitude & a team player.

Reporting to the Rail Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Monday to Friday - 7am to 3pm
- Processing drivers for both inbound and outbound containers
- Co-ordinating container locations with stackers
- Locating containers in terminal (when required)
- Creating orders for train services (inbound)
- Reefer monitoring & updating reefer file
- Booking dehires into erail
- Oversee exports leaving terminal (export lists)
- Creating empty container pick ups (when required)
- Using systems such as tms / one stop and maximus




- Liaising with customers on a daily basis regarding imports / exports and any other requirements
- Assist operations manager as needed.
- You must have your own transportation

You will have 1-2 years in a similar role, ideally in transport & logistics. You will be well organised and able to multi-task, and have a cheery nature with a flair for communication. You must be well versed both written and speaking in English. They are very much a team setting and training will be provided.
