Scheduler – Major Defence Capability Program (Canberra)

The opportunity
n
We're seeking Schedulers to support a division responsible for stewardship and assurance compliance across one of Australia's most significant, highest-profile capability programs. This is scheduling work at the centre of a highly complex, multi-workstream enterprise: you'll build division-wide milestone and certification schedules, integrate them into the group-level Integrated Master Schedule, and give leadership a explicit, defensible view of delivery risk across the program.

What you'll do
n
n
- Develop, deliver and maintain division-wide milestone and certification schedules aligned to program phases, using Open Plan Professional and other in-system tools
n
- Build and maintain a branch enabling-function and ICT schedule
n
- Coordinate, monitor and report on scheduled activity progress
n
- Identify and advise on schedule delays, changes, risks and mitigations
n
- Own and maintain the divisional Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
n
- Integrate the divisional delivery schedule into the group-level Integration Master Schedule (IMS)
n
- Coordinate divisional schedule reviews and audits, and support group-level reviews
n
- Provide ad hoc scheduling mentorship and advice across the group
n
- Produce monthly and ad hoc schedule reporting against agreed metrics
n
- Participate in governance forums and stakeholder meetings as required
n

What we're looking for
n
n
- Demonstrated experience developing and integrating schedules on complex, scalable Defence capability programs
n
- Experience with One Defence Capability System (ODCS)
n
- Strong analytical skills; able to work through complex program and project data to surface trends, patterns and risk
n
- Comfortable working under pressure with competing priorities across multiple workstreams
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
n
