We're looking for an experienced and energetic Assistant Venue Manager to join our leadership team.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves hospitality, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and knows how to get the best out of a team.

n

Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue, while helping shape the culture, standards and performance of the team.

n

About the role

n

As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll be responsible for helping lead all aspects of the venue, including:

n

Leading and motivating a large front-of-house team

n

Delivering consistently high standards of service, food and presentation

n

Supporting the Venue Manager with day-to-day operations

n

Driving sales, profitability and key venue KPIs

n

Managing labour, rostering and team performance

n

Training, coaching and developing supervisors and team members

n

Maintaining strong operational, safety and compliance standards

n

Handling guest feedback and resolving issues confidently

n

Supporting functions, events and high-volume trading periods

n

Opening and closing the venue and taking ownership of shifts

n

Contributing ideas that improve the guest experience and the way we operate

n

About you

n

We're looking for someone who is already operating at a senior hospitality level and is ready to take the next step.

n





You'll ideally have:

n

Previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar

n

Solid experience in a high-volume pub, restaurant, bar or hospitality environment

n

Excellent communication and people-management skills

n

A genuine ability to lead by example

n

Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of venue KPIs

n

Confidence managing challenging situations and difficult conversations

n

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

n

A positive, solutions-focused attitude

n

The ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods

n

A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences

n

Most importantly, you'll care about your team and take ownership of your venue.
