About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Loop Cutter / Vehicle Detector Installer to join our growing team. You'll be out on live signalised intersections and highway sites, cutting in and installing induction and piezo loops that keep traffic signals and vehicle detection systems running accurately and compliantly.
What You'll Be Doing
- Cutting in stop line,
infringement and piezo vehicle detector loops at signalised intersections
- Installing preformed SCANLOOP™ and surface-mounted induction loops
- Working to compliance standards to ensure signals are accurate and fully functional
- Coordinating with traffic control crews to work safely on live road sites
- Reading and working from staging plans, WAE's and 3D intersection designs
- Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
What We're Looking For
- Experience with loop cutting, saw-cutting or vehicle detector installation (essential)
- Understanding of induction and/or piezo loop technology (highly regarded)
- Comfortable working on live road and highway sites
- Current driver's licence; White Card required
- Traffic Control tickets (highly regarded, not essential — we can support training)
- A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to travel to sites across NSW
Pay: From $82,000.00 per year
