About the Company MacKellar is the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine, delivering long-term employment and opportunities across regional Queensland. Our primary recruitment hubs are Townsville and Rockhampton, and we encourage applications from candidates across all regional Queensland communities.

About the Role

This is a permanent position within our maintenance team, working a 7/7 rotating roster (currently day shift only, with flexibility to transition to day/night as operational requirements change).

Key responsibilities include

- Repair and maintenance of ancillary equipment, including generators,



lighting towers, light vehicles, forklifts, and related assets
- Fault finding and troubleshooting across scheduled and preventative maintenance activities
- Ensuring planned maintenance is completed within allocated timeframes and cost requirements
- Working autonomously while following direction from supervisors
- Identifying and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team

About You To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Open Cut Coal mining, along with:

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an industry-equivalent qualification
- High Risk Work Licences (highly desirable)
- Current Standard 11 and CBM, or willingness to obtain
- A valid Queensland Driver Licence
