About the Role
This is a permanent position within our maintenance team, working a 7/7 rotating roster (currently day shift only, with flexibility to transition to day/night as operational requirements change).
Key responsibilities include
- Repair and maintenance of ancillary equipment, including generators, lighting towers, light vehicles, forklifts, and related assets
- Fault finding and troubleshooting across scheduled and preventative maintenance activities
- Ensuring planned maintenance is completed within allocated timeframes and cost requirements
- Working autonomously while following direction from supervisors
- Identifying and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
About You To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Open Cut Coal mining, along with:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an industry-equivalent qualification
- High Risk Work Licences (highly desirable)
- Current Standard 11 and CBM, or willingness to obtain
- A valid Queensland Driver Licence
