About the Role
As a Maintenance Assistant - Physical Resources, you will play an important role in maintaining the presentation, safety and functionality of our facilities and grounds. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You will undertake general maintenance tasks, assist with gardening and grounds upkeep, and help ensure our buildings and outdoor environments are maintained to a high standard.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our services by responding to maintenance requests, maintaining equipment and facilities, and identifying opportunities to improve the environment for our staff, patients and community. A current driver's licence is required, as travel between sites may be necessary.
About You
You are a practical and reliable team player with experience in general maintenance and grounds maintenance activities. You take pride in your work, enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, and are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. You have the skills and capability to undertake a range of general maintenance and gardening duties, ensuring grounds, gardens and outdoor environments are maintained to a high standard.
With well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, you build positive working relationships and contribute effectively within a team environment. You bring a positive attitude, a strong focus on service improvement, and a commitment to providing excellent support across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Assist the Site Maintenance Officer with the maintenance and enhancement of the physical resources with particular reference to Coffs Harbour Health Campus and ancillary facilities.
