About the role The Maintenance Coordinator will be on the tools for basic maintenance, and in the office coordinating repairs and maintenance across our SDA homes in South Australia and interstate. This is a full-time role based in Adelaide, incorporating travel to homes located in the greater Adelaide area and regular coordination of work in NSW and Victoria.

Key responsibilities

- Responsive basic maintenance: carpentry, doors, locks, flyscreens, tap washers, silicone, plaster/paint touch-ups, furniture, gutters, grounds, vacancy make-ready
- Photograph, complete and close work orders in a prompt manner (same or next day where possible)
- Triage requests, prioritise safety and vacancy turnarounds, and keep residents and staff updated
- Coordinate licensed contractors in SA, NSW and VIC: quote, book, attend if needed, check quality, close the job
- Run preventative and cyclic maintenance (smoke alarms, filters, gutters, grounds, defect liability)
- Keep asset records, photos and compliance current
- After-hours triage
- Periodic property inspections to identify maintenance issues

About you





- Real time on the tools experience and expertise in residential or property maintenance. A trade is useful, but not required
- Current unrestricted driver's licence (mandatory)
- Your own roadworthy ute, van or wagon, comprehensively insured, and your own basic hand and power tools
- DHS clearance and NDIS Worker Screening (mandatory — can be applied for once in the role – coordinated by Avenu)
- Microsoft Office and the confidence to run a simple work-order system
