About the Role

Longitude 131° is seeking a Maintenance Manager to take care of one of Australia's most remarkable luxury lodges, set among the dunes overlooking Uluṟu.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of property maintenance across our luxury tented pavilions, Dune House and back of house facilities. You will balance hands-on repairs with planning, managing preventative maintenance schedules, coordinating contractors and keeping essential services running in a remote desert setting.

This is a residential role based at Yulara, with accommodation and meals provided.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing the day to day maintenance of the lodge, guest pavilions and grounds
- Developing and delivering a preventative maintenance program
- Responding promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests
- Overseeing plant, water, power, pool and air conditioning systems
- Coordinating external contractors and managing trade works on site
- Maintaining the vehicle fleet and equipment servicing schedules
- Managing maintenance budgets, spare parts and supplier orders
- Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, testing and safety records





About You You are a passionate and practical tradesperson who takes pride in keeping a property immaculate and enjoys the challenge of working somewhere remote.

You will ideally have

- Experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance role, ideally in hospitality
- A recognised trade qualification, with electrical or plumbing highly regarded
- Broad hands-on skills across building, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work
- Strong planning and contractor management skills
- A current Australian driver's licence
- Comfort living and working in a remote, residential environment
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and on call periods
- Current Australian working rights
