Our Engineering Services division provides specialist electrical maintenance, testing, asset management and engineering services to customers across Queensland.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Sales Representative to join our Queensland Engineering Services team and help grow our electrical maintenance business.

About the Role

This is a customer focused sales role responsible for developing new business while maintaining and growing an established customer base. Using Nilsen's TEGG maintenance framework, you will work directly with customers to understand their electrical assets, maintenance requirements and operational challenges, then develop practical maintenance solutions and proposals.

You will be responsible for managing opportunities from initial prospecting and site engagement through to proposal, negotiation and order placement. The role also involves maintaining long term customer relationships and identifying opportunities for additional Nilsen services.

The role includes surveying electrical systems, interpreting drawings and site conditions, developing proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across commercial and industrial markets

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Prospect, qualify and convert new sales opportunities
- Attend customer sites and assess electrical maintenance requirements
- Prepare professional proposals and maintenance solutions
- Manage opportunities through negotiation and order placement
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets
- Manage contract renewals and support customer retention
- Work closely with our technical and operational teams to deliver customer requirements




- Identify opportunities for additional Engineering Services and Design Electrical Services solutions
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales activity records

About You

We are looking for someone who is comfortable developing relationships, opening doors and managing the full sales process. Ideally, you will bring:
- Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development
- Experience within electrical, building services, facilities, industrial services or a related technical industry
- A demonstrated ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into new business
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Confidence dealing with customers across operational, technical and management levels
- Robust organisation and time management skills
- A self motivated approach with a focus on achieving sales targets
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required

Electrical industry knowledge and established industry networks would be highly regarded. Experience in customer facing building services roles, particularly electrical and B2B service accounts, along with demonstrated new business development experience.
