Lead a High-Performing Team in a Fast-Paced Health Environment
Permanent Full-Time Opportunity to Lead the professional and operational delivery of administration services within Logan Hospital's Level 5 Emergency Department. Manage a diverse team, drive service improvements and help ensure frontline administration supports safe, efficient and patient-focused care.
About This Role
Your new role
As Manager Administration Services, you will lead and manage the Emergency Department's administration workforce, providing strategic and operational leadership across a complex, fast-paced healthcare environment. Working closely with clinical and multidisciplinary teams, you will drive efficient administration services, workforce capability and continuous improvement while ensuring the patient remains at the centre of everything we do.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations, performance and professional development of ED administration teams and support officers.
- Manage workforce planning, recruitment, FTE allocations, payroll and financial resources to support effective service delivery.
- Build strong multidisciplinary relationships and lead initiatives that improve administrative processes, efficiency and patient experience.
- Drive innovation, change management, risk management and continuous improvement across administration services.
About You You are an experienced administrative leader who can confidently manage people, priorities and resources within a complex healthcare environment. You bring strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to lead teams through change and deliver practical, outcome-focused solutions. Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated leadership and workforce management experience within a complex environment.
- Strong organisational, planning, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced problem-solving and change management skills with a focus on service improvement.
- Knowledge of contemporary HR processes and systems, with Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to rapidly learn health information systems.

Logan Hospital Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland.
We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
