About Us The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria. The Corporate Strategy and Delivery group delivers essential corporate and enabling services and specialist support, allowing the department to operate efficiently and effectively.

Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) is an internal technology group within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, responsible for planning, delivering, and maintaining the technology systems and services that support the department's day-to-day operations.

What You Will Do

As a manager, financial operations, you will lead financial operations across technology services. You will provide financial advice, manage reporting and help leaders make sound business decisions.

You Will

- lead financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting across technology services.
- analyse financial results, budgets and forecasts to provide clear advice for business decisions.
- improve financial processes and systems to strengthen reporting, controls and efficiency.
- develop governance, policies and procedures that support financial compliance and sound operations.
- ensure financial activities meet legislative and departmental requirements, including the Financial Management Act 1994.

About You You should have relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business, commerce or accounting.





You should also hold a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant qualification. You Should Also Have

- strong financial expertise across planning, reporting, budgeting and financial analysis.
- FinOps and cost management skills, including experience with financial accounting systems.
- strong analytical skills to assess complex issues and make sound recommendations.
- leadership and communication skills to guide teams and explain complex financial matters clearly.
