n established and highly respected Australian organisation is seeking an experienced People and Culture Operations Lead to join its Brisbane-based team. This is a newly identified leadership opportunity for a senior HR professional with deep expertise in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, compliance and people operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation's people practices, systems and governance frameworks are compliant, scalable and aligned with business objectives.

As the organisation's subject matter expert in ER and IR, you will provide strategic and operational guidance across a diverse workforce while leading a team responsible for HR administration and coordination. You will partner closely with senior leaders across the business, balancing risk management with commercial pragmatism to deliver practical people solutions and drive operational excellence.

- Interpret and apply employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Partner with leaders to deliver commercially sound and compliant outcomes.
- Lead key workforce compliance activities including statutory reporting obligations.
- Identify,



assess and mitigate people-related risks.
- Drive excellence across People & Culture systems, processes and service delivery.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Support HRIS optimisation and future system enhancements.
- Utilise workforce data and analytics to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Maintain compliant employment contracts, templates and employment documentation.
- support workforce due diligence activities during acquisitions.
- Ensure alignment of people processes, systems and compliance requirements following acquisition activity.

You will enjoy partnering with leaders, influencing outcomes and building practical solutions within a complex operating environment. Your understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work Commission processes will provide you with the background to tackle workplace scenarios and provide practical, commercial advice for leaders and stakeholders. Experience in M&A; activity and HRIS implementation processes will be highly regarded.
