About the role

Luma is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Western Australian women since 1977, delivering integrated medical, allied health, mental health, FDV advocacy, health promotion and education across the Perth metropolitan area.

Luma is seeking an experienced and values-driven Manager, Recovery Services to provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across our programs. This is a full time role, fixed-term for 12 months.

In this senior role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and Team Leaders to deliver high quality, client centred and trauma informed services aligned with organisational and funding requirements. You will drive service excellence, strengthen workforce capability, foster strategic partnerships, and lead innovation and continuous improvement across programs supporting women and families with complex needs.

What you will do

- Leadership & Team Support: Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to multidisciplinary teams and Team Leaders across service areas, building workforce capability and supporting effective service delivery and achievement of service targets.
- Operations & Team Functioning: In partnership with Team Leaders, provide day-to-day operational oversight, including workload coordination, case complexity management and team functioning, while fostering a collaborative, supportive and psychologically safe culture.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure services are delivered in accordance with ethical guidelines, legal requirements, organisational policies and funding agreements, maintaining high standards of practice and accountability.
- Partnerships & Sector Engagement: Represent Luma in sector forums, committees, partnerships and funding body meetings, advocating for service priorities, strengthening organisational partnerships and supporting integrated service responses.
- Workforce Capability: Identify training needs,



facilitate professional development and promote evidence-informed, best-practice approaches to strengthen workforce capability.
- Quality & Administration: Maintain oversight of accurate, timely and trauma-informed clinical and administrative records, supporting team compliance with organisational and funding requirements.
- Data & Continuous Improvement: Oversee the collection, analysis and use of data to inform reporting, quality improvement, service planning and business decision-making.

About you:

- Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent experience, in a relevant human services discipline, with professional registration where applicable.
- Proven experience leading and supporting multidisciplinary teams, including supervision, coaching and workforce development.
- A strong understanding of issues impacting women, including mental health, alcohol and other drug use, trauma and recovery.
- Demonstrated ability to apply trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and client-centred approaches across diverse service settings.
- A commitment to culturally safe and inclusive practice, including working effectively with Aboriginal communities and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Experience overseeing service performance, utilisation and contract or funding requirements to ensure quality and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret service data and use insights to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports and engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders.




- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple service areas and support integrated, coordinated responses to client needs.
- A current Western Australian driver’s licence and National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain them.
