Who are we looking for? We are seeking a Manager, Work Integrated Learning Support to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health. This role provides leadership in the administration of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) within the Faculty of Health and will ensure that the Faculty’s WIL Support (WILS) team is well positioned to deliver high quality services to staff and students across the Faculty’s seven Schools and QUT’s two campuses. This will be accomplished by providing strategic advice to faculty executives and academic leaders, coordinating resources, managing staff and adopting a consultative approach to achieving objectives and solving problems.

What You Need To Succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience, ideally in a university environment.
- Demonstrated success in providing strategic leadership and managing high-performing teams, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, staff development and fostering a client-focused culture, and a proven ability to lead complex operational functions and deliver strategic initiatives that support organisational goals and compliance requirements.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with demonstrated success in building productive relationships and partnerships with senior internal stakeholders, industry, government and external community organisations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex systems and technologies, including system implementation, process design, data governance, reporting and the use of information to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, resources, risk and compliance requirements, including the interpretation and application of legislation, policy and governance frameworks.
- Highly developed analytical, written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience leading projects, preparing reports and business cases, and providing evidence-based advice to senior leaders.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
