About the role

Mploy HR Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Boronia, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our manufacturing operations. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for running and maintaining machinery, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.

The Incumbent will produce quality products, efficiently and effectively, adhering to the Formulating Procedure Sheet (FPS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) while following Valuable Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and proceeding in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards

There are three openings for this role. 2x Afternoon Operators & 1x Day Shift

Key responsibilities

- Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery and production equipment according to specifications and safety protocols

- Setting up machinery, adjusting parameters, and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Conducting routine maintenance checks and performing basic troubleshooting on production equipment

- Inspecting products for defects and quality issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards

- Recording production data, machine performance metrics, and any issues encountered during shifts

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and reporting them to supervisors

- Following standard operating procedures and company policies consistently

- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines





- Responding promptly to equipment malfunctions and reporting problems to maintenance teams

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Manufacturing Operator or in a similar machine operation role in either Pharmaceutical or Food industry (minimum 1 year)

- Strong understanding of machinery operation, maintenance and safety protocols

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing environments

- Problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to unexpected issues

- Communication skills and willingness to take direction from supervisors
