Marine Energy Systems is one of Australia's largest marine parts suppliers. Based at The Boat Works Marina in Coomera, we operate from a dedicated retail and warehouse facility and are importers and distributors for a range of major marine brands.

We have a robust national presence through multiple online stores and supply marine engine parts and equipment to both trade and retail customers throughout Australia.

We are looking for a positive and customer-focused person who enjoys interacting with our customers and working closely with colleagues.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter / Customer Service Representative to join our Gold Coast team. This is a customer-facing role involving marine engine parts interpreting, retail and trade customer service, online sales and order processing.

You will be one of the first points of contact for customers visiting our store, calling by phone or contacting us online, helping them identify the correct parts and providing knowledgeable, qualified service.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service to retail, trade and online customers.
- Assist customers in store, over the phone and through online enquiries. with product selection, availability and technical enquiries.
- Prepare quotations, sales orders and invoices,



processing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate product and stock information within our business software.
- Evaluate and process warranty claims.
- Identify new product, supply and sales opportunities.
- Assist with product listings, updates and general maintenance across our Shopify online stores.
- Receive, sort and organise incoming stock. Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
- Work closely with the wider team to achieve the goals of the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Strong engine parts knowledge, preferably marine engines and accessories.
- A strong customer-service focus.
- A friendly, professional and positive attitude.
- Good computer skills and confidence learning different software systems.
- Experience with quoting, invoicing and order processing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong literacy, attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to assist throughout the business.
- The physical ability to safely lift and move boxes and marine parts as part of normal duties.
- Experience with Shopify, inventory systems, ERP software or online retail preferred.
