Marine Service & Parts Consultant

Blakes Marine is looking for a friendly, motivated and customer-focused Marine Service & Parts Consultant to join our team.

This is a diverse, customer-focused role combining marine service advising, customer service, parts sales and retail responsibilities. You will be a key point of contact for our customers, helping to ensure every interaction with Blakes Marine is professional, friendly and efficient.

The role requires someone who is organised, approachable and confident dealing with customers, while also having an understanding of marine parts, servicing and the day-to-day operations of a busy marine service centre.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Welcoming customers and providing professional customer service
- Assisting customers with marine service enquiries and bookings
- Liaising with customers regarding their boats, servicing and repairs
- Preparing and following up service job cards and customer requirements
- Communicating with the Service Foreman to support the efficient coordination and completion of jobs
- Assisting with marine parts enquiries, sales and ordering
- Serving customers within our retail shop
- Processing sales, invoices and payments
- Answering telephone enquiries and responding to emails
- Assisting customers with marine products, accessories and parts
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented shop and customer service area
- Assisting with stock control, receiving and displaying products
- Providing a high level of customer service from enquiry through to completion




- Working closely with the service and parts teams to ensure customers receive timely and accurate information
- Other general duties as required within the service and parts departments

About You We are looking for someone who:

- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is friendly, approachable and professional
- Is confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Has strong organisational and time-management skills
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is comfortable working in a busy marine service environment
- Has an interest in boats, marine products, parts or mechanical services
- Has previous customer service, retail, service advisor or parts experience (preferred but not essential)
- Is reliable, motivated and willing to learn
- Takes pride in providing an excellent customer experience

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
