Looking for Massage Therapist (Private Health Fund Rebates Eligible)

Location: Earlwood, NSW

Employment Type: Contractor (1-3 days per week)

Remuneration: 60% (Therapist) / 40% (Clinic) Commission

We house a multidisciplinary team of Acupuncturists, Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioners, Massage Therapist, and Physiotherapists. We pride ourselves on a warm, collaborative environment where practitioners support one another and work together to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients.

Our Clientele

We treat a diverse mix of everyday people. Our patients include gym-goers looking for recovery, individuals managing stress and nervous system overload, those seeking natural approaches to holistic health, and clients with chronic musculoskeletal complaints. We have a strong reputation in the local community, supported by word-of-mouth and in-clinic cross-referrals from our physiotherapists and acupuncturists.

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. You must hold the necessary qualifications to claim under all major Private Health Insurance funds (e.g., Medibank, Bupa, HCF).

While we welcome applicants of all experience levels.

Please note: This role will involve an initial period of building your own books. While we have an established clinic with a steady flow of patients, it will take time to fill your schedule. You will need to be self-motivated and willing to put in the effort to grow your client base. In return,



we offer a supportive environment and a steady stream of internal referrals from our other practitioners to help you get there.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality remedial, deep tissue, and relaxation massage tailored to patient needs.
- Manage your own schedule and actively build your client base.
- Collect payment from patients via our reception system
- Maintain clean and safe treatment spaces.
- Collaborate with the team regarding patient care if required.

What We Offer:

- Competitive Commission: Generous 60/40 split in your favor (60% to you).
- Help Getting Started: If you don't currently have an ABN, we can help guide you through the process of setting one up.
- Referral Pipeline: Benefit from word-of-mouth and cross-referrals from our physiotherapists and acupuncturists to help you build your books faster.

Requirements:

- Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance.
- Provider Number for Private Health Funds (or ability to obtain one immediately).
- ABN is preferred, but we are happy to assist you in setting one up if needed.
