Job Description

Zephyr Agency is seeking a Senior Account Manager to be the day to day owner of client relationships. You will run the accounts, keep work moving through the studio, and be the person clients call first. This is a hands‐on role where you will not just be briefing and reviewing. You will write the proposals, build the strategy documents, draft the LinkedIn and thought leadership copy and run the local PR. If you like being close to the work, you will enjoy it here. If you are looking to step back from producing, this is not the role.

Key responsibilities

Own the day to day relationship across a portfolio of retained and project clients

n

Take briefs, write them up properly, and keep the studio moving

n

Write proposals, scopes of work and strategy documents

n

Draft client‐facing copy: LinkedIn and thought leadership, EDMs, short‐form content and key messaging

n

Run local public relations: media releases, media lists and pitching to journalists

n

Manage timelines, budgets and scope, and flag overruns before they become a problem

n

Build client reports and post‐campaign analysis that show the value of the work

n

Support new business through proposals, pitch material and spotting growth inside existing accounts

n

Work alongside the junior team, delegating production and content work and helping them lift

n

About you

n

Minimum two years in a client‐facing account management role, ideally agency side

n

A strong writer. Your work goes to a client without needing to be rewritten

n

Extremely organised across multiple clients, projects and deadlines at once

n

Confident presenting,



and comfortable having the awkward client conversation early rather than late

n

Commercially aware. You notice when scope is creeping and you do something about it

n

Degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, business, media or project management

n

Comfortable across Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Adobe, Miro, Loomly and project management tools

n

Nice to have, not essential: brand strategy exposure, hands‐on PR experience, and confidence reading digital and performance reporting
