The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated MC Driver to join our Brisbane team as soon as possible.
Role: MC Driver
Location: Brisbane, Qld
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm
Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
As an MC Driver, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Hooking, unhooking and reversing trailers safely.
- Transporting trailers between depots, customer sites, yards and bulk areas.
- Completing bulk pick-ups and deliveries
- Loading and unloading freight where required.
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.
- Maintaining accurate freight and delivery documentation.
- Providing excellent customer service while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
- Complying with all Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and road transport legislation.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current MC Manual Licence.
- Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a similar local MC driving role.
- Valuable knowledge of south east Qld
- No more than 6 demerit points on your driver's licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test.
- Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to provide at least two recent employment references.
- Full Australian working rights.
- A strong commitment to safety, reliability and excellent work ethic.
