Looking to lock in your next shutdown? We're recruiting experienced Mechanical Commissioning Technicians for a BHP Crusher Outage.

Our client is a well-established Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. We're looking for experienced 4x Mechanical Commissioning Technicians to join a major shutdown at BHP MAC this October.

With a strong pipeline of work across Western Australia, they continue to grow their commissioning teams and deliver high-quality outcomes on major resource projects.

Key Details:

- Dates: 27/10 - 31/10
- Location: BHP Mac
- $85/hr Days | $95/hr Nights
- Super paid on all hours
- Travel included
- Opportunity to join a contractor with a strong pipeline of WA projects

What will this position involve?

As part of the commissioning team, you'll play a key role in safely delivering mechanical commissioning activities from construction verification through to final handover.

Your duties will include

- Completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
- Construction verification, no-load and load commissioning




- Conducting function testing on motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and associated fixed plant equipment
- Identifying faults and supporting troubleshooting activities
- Updating commissioning mark-ups and redline drawings

What do you need to be successful?

To be successful, you will have:

- Trade Certificate
- WA White Card
- BHP Inducted or willing to complete
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Minimum 12 months' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
