About the role

Whitehouse Group Qld Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and suitably qualified Mechanical Tradespeople to join our team on a variety of work fronts, including as Field Fitters on civil construction projects within the Central Queensland area (ideally based out of Rockhampton), and as part of our Ancillary Maintenance team based in Blackwater for workshop and mine-site based work.

About you To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a diesel fitter (or similar heavy industrial mechanical trade - e.g. mechanical fitter - not light vehicle)
- Demonstrated experience working on a variety of civil operating equipment - e.g. mobile equipment, ancillary equipment
- Current open driver's licence (HR licence preferred)
- Current White Card (Construction Induction) or the ability to obtain one
- Current Standard 11 General Surface Mining Induction
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and flexibility
