The Role:

Because of you… high-quality pharmaceutical content will connect strong medical evidence with clear, compliant, and impactful marketing communications.

Working within the Digital Marketing team, this six-month contract will see you operate as the Medical Writer and pharmaceutical content specialist across an extensive portfolio of approximately 70 established brands.

This is a highly hands-on position suited to an experienced Medical Marketer or Medical Writer who enjoys personally developing, reviewing and referencing pharmaceutical content for marketing materials and initiatives. You will work across digital and print materials, websites, sales resources, educational content and promotional assets while acting as an important link between Marketing and Medical/Legal review stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Write, review and approve pharmaceutical promotional and marketing content




- Develop copy across digital, print, website and social channels
- Support content development across numerous brands and therapeutic areas
- Review promotional claims against appropriate medical and scientific evidence
- Prepare and complete detailed Reference Packs for promotional materials
- Link creative content and claims with supporting references and source documents
- Navigate complex and potentially lengthy medical and scientific documents
- Review and quality-check AI-generated pharmaceutical marketing content
- Assess whether AI-generated claims and messaging are appropriately supportable
- Work between Marketing and external Medical/Legal review stakeholders
- Challenge and clarify reviewer feedback while maintaining compliant communication
- Identify opportunities to strengthen marketing messages within appropriate pharmaceutical boundaries
- Work within Veeva PromoMats/VVPM to manage content and referencing workflows

Skills & Experience:

- Previous Medical Writing experience, required
- Pharmaceutical industry or pharmaceutical agency experience, required
- Experience developing pharmaceutical promotional or marketing content
- Previous hands-on Reference Pack experience, essential
- Experience substantiating pharmaceutical claims against medical and scientific references
- Experience with Veeva PromoMats/VVPM, required (moderate-medium level)




- Previous experience working with Medical and Legal review stakeholders
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical promotional content requirements
- Excellent written communication and copywriting capability
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence challenging and influencing stakeholders when appropriate
- Comfortable managing multiple brands and projects simultaneously
- Agency experience supporting multiple pharmaceutical clients, highly regarded
- Previous exposure to AI-generated content, advantageous but not essential
