Emeritus Research is looking for friendly and organised Receptionists to join our growing team in Camberwell.

We currently have Full-time (Min. 3 years medical reception experience) and Part-time (16-24 hours per week) opportunities available.

About the Role:

The Receptionist will be the first face-to-face point of contact for visitors to site and will demonstrate our company values to ensure a positive experience. They will use their exceptional organisational and time management skills to facilitate the smooth operational requirements within the Clinical Trials Centre.

What you’ll be doing:

- Greeting patients and visitors

- Managing patient appointments and scheduling using medical administration software systems

- Responding to telephone enquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members





- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations

- Processing patient registrations and gathering relevant medical history information

- Coordinating with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery

- Managing reception desk operations

- Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry and document preparation

- Ensuring compliance with privacy legislation and maintaining confidentiality at all times

About you:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar healthcare administrative role (min. 3 years preferred)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Australian Residency or a valid work visa

- Proficiency in medical administration software and general computer systems

- Easily build rapport with others to establish comfortable working relationships with staff and customers

- Possess a natural sense of optimism that sets the tone for a positive customer experience

- Have an acute eye for detail, to ensure accuracy in documentation, processes, and procedures
- A team-oriented, proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Availability to work across 7.00am – 11.00pm 7 days per week (including public holidays)
