Duchess Medical Practice has been providing high quality General Practice to the Busselton community for over 35 years. We have two sites, one in central Busselton and another in the growing suburb of Vasse.

We have an exciting role for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team in a part-time role with permanent hours.

Applicants will require excellent communication, telephone and computer skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks confidently in fast paced environment with attention to detail.

Job tasks and responsibilities

- Answer all incoming phone calls

- Schedule appointments and update patient information in our system

- Issue invoices, take payments, and process Medicare rebates

- Supporting the doctors, nurses, and other team members

- Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and practice rooms

- Comply with workplace health and safety principles including infection control





- General administration duties including, scanning, electronic filing, distribution of mail, record management, invoicing etc.

Skills and experience

- Prior medical reception experience

- Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently with initiative

- Excellent communication skills and customer focus with professionalism & confidentiality

- Flexibility to cover open and close shifts

- Keen attention to detail

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Willing to complete a criminal history check
