Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Medication Endorsed Enrolled Psychiatric Nurse to join the North West Community Care Unit.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Medication Endorsed Enrolled Psychiatric Nurse to join the team at Northern Health - North West Community Care Unit.

The Preston Community Care Unit (CCU) provides a 24 hour community based residential recovery program to people who experience mental ill health utilising a Recovery Orientated framework. The CCU provides a therapeutic workplace inwhich recovery programs are tailored to meet individual consumer needs.

The Medication Endorsed Division 2 Registered Nurse at NWCCU will work as part of the NWCCU multidisciplinary team supporting consumers in the CCU programs and their families/carers; to achieve recovery focused outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience and good working knowledge of Recovery Orientated Practice, Mental Health Nursing practice, relevant legislation related to Mental Health Care including Mental Health Act.




- At least 3 years' experience with proven ability to perform clinical practice within scope of Medication Endorsed Enrolled Psychiatric Nurse.
- Demonstrated skill in collaborative care planning and working within a multidisciplinary team.
- A current driver's license
