METAL FABRICATOR

What you'll be doing:

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work orders to plan and execute fabrication projects

· Operate various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG and stick welders to join metal components

· Use hand and power tools to measure cut, bend, drill and fit metal parts

· Assemble finished products and components according to design specifications

· Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards

· Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment

· Collaborate with other team members to deliver projects on time and to budget

What we're looking for:

· Formal qualification in metal fabrication or a related trade, or demonstrated equivalent experience

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings & schematics





· Extensive experience operating a range of welding equipment including MIG, TIG and stick welders

· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to trouble shoot and resolve issues

· Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $79,500.00 – $84,000.00 per year
