METAL FABRICATOR

What you'll be doing:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work orders to plan and execute fabrication projects

- Operate various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG and stick welders to join metal components

- Use hand and power tools to measure cut, bend, drill and fit metal parts

- Assemble finished products and components according to design specifications

- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards

- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment

- Collaborate with other team members to deliver projects on time and to budget

What we're looking for:

- Formal qualification in metal fabrication or a related trade, or demonstrated equivalent experience





- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings & schematics

- Extensive experience operating a range of welding equipment including MIG, TIG and stick welders

- Solid problem solving and critical thinking skills to trouble shoot and resolve issues

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
