About the role
As a Mobile Paediatric Physiotherapist at Physitek, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to children and adolescents across Brisbane within their everyday environments. You will work closely with families, educators, support teams, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, goal-directed care that supports meaningful participation in daily life. Caseloads are geographically planned where possible to reduce excessive travel demands and support work-life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting paediatric physiotherapy assessments within home, school, childcare, and community settings
- Developing individualised treatment plans aligned with each child's functional goals and family priorities
- Delivering hands-on physiotherapy intervention focused on gross motor development, strength, mobility, endurance, participation, and functional independence
- Prescribing and supporting assistive technology and equipment recommendations where appropriate
- Completing clinical documentation, progress notes, reports, and NDIS-related documentation
- Collaborating with families, teachers, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in team meetings, mentoring opportunities, and ongoing professional development
About you
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Minimum 2 years' experience within paediatric physiotherapy
- Experience working within community, home-based, or NDIS settings highly regarded
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with assistive technology and NDIS report writing
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working independently while remaining collaborative within a team environment
- Proficiency with mobile technology and electronic documentation systems
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
