About the role

Malaga Auto Repairs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Malaga, WA. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional to contribute to the success of our thriving auto repair workshop.

What you'll be doing

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of motor vehicles
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, and tyre rotations
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of client orders
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures

What we're looking for

- Formal trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues




- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- We also pay $40.00 per week tool allowance
