We currently seeking applications for a Truck Driver with MR Driver Licence or above for work with a bridge maintenance team based at Goulburn.
This role will involve working full time hours of work for an initial period of 6 months, with genuine potential of further work available for valuable quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.
This role will require you to travel on a regular basis, staying away for a week at a time. Accommodation is provided and applicable allowances paid.
Duties will include driving MR trucks for the movement of materials, transporting crews and towing trailers & implements; loading trucks; and also manual labouring with a bridge maintenance crew. Applicants must be able to demonstrate load restraint knowledge and experience, and previous experience on civil or road construction sites would be preferred. Traffic control qualification/s and experience, and/or high risk work licences would be a bonus.
Successful Applicants will need;
- current WHS White Card - essential
- Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
- MR driver licence - essential
- traffic control tickets - preferred
- previous experience with road, bridge or civil construction will be highly regarded
- fit for manual work tasks as required
- willingness to undertake police record check
