Senior Service Technician - Appliances and Coffee Equipment

About the Role

n

As Senior Service Technician, you will lead the installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial coffee machinery and grinders, while building and mentoring a growing service team. This is a hands‐on technical role with real leadership responsibility, ideal for someone who takes pride in doing the job right and developing others around them.

Key Responsibilities

n

Leadership & Team Development

n

Manage, build and lead the service team

n

Train and mentor service staff, providing ongoing technical guidance and support

n

Support clients with technical guidance and training

n

Install, commission and set up current coffee machines

n

Diagnose and repair faults both on‐site and in‐house

n

Conduct routine preventative maintenance and water filter changes

n

Operations & Administration

n

Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, including stock levels, usage and reordering

n

Manage service communication and job updates through ServiceM8

n





Maintain accurate ServiceM8 job notes, service reports, parts usage and customer records

n

Communicate effectively with clients and the internal team regarding service jobs, repairs and follow‐ups

n

About You

n

Previous experience with commercial bean-to-cup and manual coffee machines

n

Electrical or mechanical aptitude favourable

n

Valid driver's licence required

n

Police clearance required

n

Excellent communication and customer service skills

n

Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills

n

Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently

n

Ability to lead, train and support a growing service team
