This role is open to candidates across Australia, with the flexibility to be based in the location that best suits you, combined with national travel as required.

Reporting to the Product Owner, National Funeral Operations, you'll partner with leaders nationwide to:

- Drive workforce planning and capability development
- Build national learning pathways and competency frameworks
- Champion mortuary care standards and regulatory compliance
- Support operational excellence across a geographically dispersed network
- Shape the future direction of mortuary operations within Australia's leading funeral services provider

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential:

- Significant experience in mortuary operations, embalming, mortuary leadership, or specialist operational management.
- Strong understanding of mortuary care standards, deceased preparation requirements, and mortuary facility operations.
- Experience implementing compliance frameworks, audits,



risk management programs or operational governance initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across geographically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated experience developing training programs, competency frameworks, or capability pathways.
- Robust leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for senior stakeholders.

Highly Regarded:

- Senior-level funeral industry experience.
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment.
- Understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks across Australia and New Zealand.
