Your duties will include:

- Conduct weed control using manual, chemical, and mechanical methods
- Identify and remove invasive and priority weed species
- Manage vegetation to maintain required rail corridor clearances
- Remove native vegetation where required for rail safety and set-back requirements
- Safely use hand tools, brush cutters, sprayers, herbicides,



and machinery
- Follow rail safety procedures, environmental legislation, and council guidelines
- Monitor and report weed growth, vegetation conditions, and completed works
- Maintain records of work completed and herbicide use

To be successful in this role, you might have:

- A Current Drivers’ licence and own transport
- National Police Check
- White Card (required or willing to obtain)
- RISI/RIW Ticket (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Chem Cert preferred
- Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or Bachelors (Highly Desirable)
