Job Title: NOC Engineer

Role Overview:

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Centre team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure with a strong focus on SD-WAN, Cisco, and Juniper technologies. The role involves ensuring high network availability, incident management, performance optimization, and support of critical business operations in a 24x7 setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Internet environments.
- Provide Level 1/Level 2 support for network incidents, service requests, and escalations.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, and performance-related issues.




- Support and manage Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Perform fault isolation, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Respond to network alarms generated by monitoring tools and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal technical teams for issue resolution.
- Execute network changes, maintenance activities, and upgrades following change management processes.
- Create and maintain network documentation, SOPs, incident reports, and operational runbooks.
- Monitor network capacity, utilization, and performance to proactively identify risks.
- Participate in 24x7 shift rotations, including on-call support when required.
- Ensure compliance with security, operational, and ITIL best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Versa, Fortinet SD-WAN, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies:
- Routing & Switching
- BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- MPLS
- VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP
- Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms

- Hands-on experience with Juniper devices:

- JunOS Operating System
- Juniper SRX Firewalls
- MX and EX Series devices
- Routing protocols (BGP,



OSPF)

- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, QoS, NAT, and network security concepts.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, LogicMonitor, Nagios, or similar.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
